Spirit Of The Rhondda.

SOTR is a Christian CIO born out of Oasis Church in Pentre with a vision to see unity across churches and communities throughout Rhondda Cynon Taf and across Wales. Our heart is for unity, restoration, revival, and Jesus at the centre of everything we do.

Spirit of the Rhondda was founded by Katy Louise, Chloe Adams, Pastor Grant Adams, and Lynette Smith, following a clear vision from the Lord to gather believers together to pray for our valleys and to seek God for a move of His Spirit across our land.

We are a team of 12 members from different churches across Rhondda Cynon Taf, Caerphilly and Cardiff and Vale, each bringing unique gifts, callings, and passion to serve the Kingdom of God.
Alongside our founders, the wider leadership includes Pastor Grant and Pastor Maldwyn, with Chloe Adams serving as both founder and pastor’s wife. Our worship is led by Andrew Lawrence, and our technical support is led by Fred Page, helping create spaces where people can encounter God through worship, prayer, and testimony.

As a ministry, we regularly gather to pray over our valleys, intercede for Rhondda Cynon Taf and Wales, and seek God for restoration and revival in our communities. We believe God is moving in our valleys and that He is calling His people to stand together in faith and unity.

Spirit of the Rhondda is passionate about serving our community and shining the light of Jesus throughout the valleys. One of the ways we are doing this is through Blessed Fest, a Christian music festival that will bring together worship, testimonies, prayer, and fellowship throughout the day, creating a space where people can encounter God in a powerful way.

Everything we do is rooted in prayer.
We stand with open arms and eyes fixed on the Lord, believing that through unity across churches and communities we will see hope restored and lives transformed.

Spirit of the Rhondda exists to make a difference across Rhondda Cynon Taf and Wales, pointing people to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and working together with churches to see lasting change in our valleys.
