Surplus Saturday!
Welcome to Surplus Saturday at Oasis Church.
On a Saturday for one and a half hours, we open our doors to the community to provide free food donated by local supermarkets. It's our way of helping both those who need it and seeing less food go to waste. Simply show up at the designated time with a bag and take what you need - no questions asked!
How does it work?
On Saturday mornings, we post on social media the time when Surplus Saturday will take place. All you have to do is come to Oasis Church at the specified time, bring a bag, and choose the items you need. It's a simple and convenient way to access free food and contribute to food recycling as less food is being wasted.
If you don't see the post on any platforms or haven't seen a update in the Facebook group 'Surplus Saturday at Oasis church' then we are not holding it on that Saturday.
